How could we make wind turbines quieter?

Suppies! :-)
Today I am going to be answering a couple of our sub-questions we have to answer for our project.

Question One

How can we make wind turbines quieter? Can we make wind turbines quieter?

Wind turbines are actually quite quiet now, people only think they are loud because the first wind turbines were actually very noisy and very destracting. Scientest have now come up with very quite turbines but no one wants to listen and find out because they are so set that the turbines are still the same as when they were first produced. The ammount of noise they make is less than a car engine. Since they already quite quiet I'm not sure if scientest will come up with something even quiter again. But you nver now what will happen. Scientest are probably in thier little labs right now, with there two sizes to big lab coats and face obstructing 'safety glasses' concucting blue prints and scale models (scientest probably wouldn't do that, but hey, it's my post and my blog, I can do what ever I want!!!) of what silent (may not be correct spelling, sue me! I don't care!) wind turbines may be like. You never know. But it's not as if they are destracting at the moment. Wind Farms all around the world are at least 300m away from any houses and other farms are out at sea where no one goes. SO WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?!?!?!?! MOst of the noise the turbines make is actually from the wind passing through the blades of the turbines (there wasn't a better way to discribe it). Only a very tiny ammount of noise is made by the motor and generator of the turbine.

So that is the first of our sub-questions we have to answer for our sustainability project. Which is actually what this whole blog is actually about.
